We believe there’s no better tutor than you — our students’ own teacher. That’s why VirtuEd was made for certified teachers who tutor, or want to tutor, and is designed to help you take charge of your business. From easy scheduling and custom billing to keeping all that you do organized in one place, VirtuEd offers you the freedom and flexibility to set your pace, scale your business and see your students thrive.
To become an official VirtuEd tutor, first sign up for priority access. When access is available, follow our easy registration process, which includes making an account and providing your credentials and completing the required information.
To join the VirtuEd teaching community, you need to be a certified teacher with relevant experience, possess the necessary state qualifications and credentials and pass our screening process.
Once you’ve passed our screening process, we provide you with a unique link and code for you to share with your students. After they make an account through your link or code, your students can book sessions with you based on your calendar availability.
As a VirtuEd tutor, you have the flexibility to set your own tutoring schedule and rates based on your preferences and availability.
On top of making extra money and making a difference in students’ lives, you’ll also make connections and build community. Whether you attend a future teaching panel hosted by VirtuEd or share resources and best practices amongst VirtuEd tutors, you’ll get to know, support and learn from other people who truly understand you.
We know extra academic support can make a big difference in students’ lives, but sometimes, those who need it most can’t get it. That’s where our Teach It Forward program comes in. For every 10 sessions you teach, VirtuEd will cover the cost of one free session to a student of your choice. As you book sessions, you’ll get notified in VirtuEd when you can offer a free session to your student and how they can redeem the offer. So, the more you tutor, the more you get paid and the more we can give back. By donating free tutoring sessions, a quality education becomes easily accessible for all students.
